Sensics Releases Ultra-Light, Hi-Definition, Turnkey Display Module for OEM/ODM Applications
New HDSight™ module provides unique display building block for a wide range of custom applications.
Baltimore, MD– April 29, 2008 – Sensics, maker of the piSight™ panoramic, high-definition HMD, announced today a new line of ultra-light, high-definition display modules designed for OEM/ODM applications. Weighing approx 85 grams (3 oz) and offering HD-quality resolution, the small, self-contained HDSight™ display module is ready for turnkey integration within new or exiting products.
Using energy-efficient OLED technology, the HDSight was designed to offer exceptional field of view, brightness, contrast, and color gamut. It is an excellent choice for defense, academic, medical and other commercial applications that can benefit from its performance, portability and unobtrusive footprint. Two HDSight modules can be combined to display 3D images with a binocular field of view of 120 degrees, whereas a single HDSight module offers ultra-portable monocular CRT-replacement with HD-quality resolution and up to 85 degrees field of view.

- Option for real-time image processing capabilities: geometrical correction, image enhancements
