zSight drivers can be found in several places:
- On the DVD supplied with the system
- On the built-in USB key that is integrated into some zSight systems
- In the customer portal
When plugged in for the first time, the PC seeks to install several drivers:
- Composite device driver: this is a standard driver in Windows and it signifies that the zSight performs multiple functions
- Game control or HID device: this is a standard Windows driver and it is used to read head tracker and pushbutton data
- Removable storage driver: this is a standard Windows driver and is installed to allow access to the 8 MB on-board Flash drive of the zSight (where applicable). This Flash drive contains documentation and drivers
- Virtual serial port driver: this drive allows using the zSight control software and API. It’s installation is otherwise not required. The driver can be found in any of the above sources.
